Video South is a specialist company formed in 1973 when video communication first became available. Since then we have refined our specialisation to serve clients in medicine and higher education.
Our knowledge of networks, video, audio, radio, display, lighting and camera technology is detailed and applied. Our understanding of our client group helps us to design appropriate systems for videoconferencing, lecture theatres, seminar rooms, interactive training systems and live demonstration facilities for intervention and diagnostic rooms in hospitals.
Since the start we have been supported by most of the high quality brand names in this technology. These also include manufacturers of interfaces, switches and touch panel controls. Our graphical touch panel control systems demonstrate very well that we understand the expectations of users as well as all the available technology to achieve the results.
We also offer expert design, project management, furniture design and build. We can advise on room layouts and all wiring, network and infrastructure, often working with design teams on large projects. We accept responsibility for the performance of a system to meet user expectations and to be suitable for the environment.
The company operates throughout UK and Ireland with skilled engineers in a variety of locations. All systems can be fully supported for after sales service and maintenance, using our own staff. The successful use of videocommunication for the benefit of our clients, is our mission.
