The APUC framework is a list of high quality AV supply and installation companies from which Scottish universities will purchase all their larger projects. One of only eight companies selected from over sixty, Video South is delighted to be selected for such work in Scotland.

Royal Vet School places large order

The new Royal Veterinary School at University of Edinburgh has placed one of the largest orders for audio visual systems ever received. The new buildings will use over half a million pounds of AV systems in classrooms, workshops and lecture theatres. Video South will design systems, furniture and videoconferencing rooms, all of a very high standard.

New Hospital in Walsall

The Manor Hospital, due to be completed Summer 2010 selected Video South to design and supply a new system of links for nine operating theatres and a full HD lecture theatre.

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust

The Teaching Hospitals Trust has ordered a complete videoconference infra-structure system from Video South. This will service the network across the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and The Northern General. The Tandberg management system and MCU (multi-point control unit) will facilitate the expected growth in medical video communication.

High-res fibre link for Glasgow's Jubilee Hospital

Golden Jubilee National Hospital now houses the expert cardiology services for West Scotland. Video South has installed a high resolution fibre link from the catheter labs to the on site Beardmore conference centre. The HD link will provide high quality demonstrations of interventional and EP procedures to audiences in the comfortable auditorium.

London - biomedical forum

Guys and St. Thomas' Biomedical Forum have been using Video South to operate meetings of healthcare scientists at four London locations. The meetings take place with up to 100 participants at Guys, St. Thomas', Kings and Queen Mary College. The forum is seen as a very important arena for progressing research of immediate value to the development of UK medicine.

Video South instals full HD fibre optic link in Sunderland

The Royal Hospital has installed a full HD fibre optic link system from two Olympus integrated operating theatres to the lecture theatre. Display is on a 1080p HD projector by Projection Design and is equipped with Extron multi-window display. Full quality HD laparoscopy can be displayed alongside external views and radiology from a PACS terminal. Excellent two-way audio facilitates easy discussion throughout a procedure.
