- JANET makes multi-site lectures a reality - Universities and colleges are turning to videconferencing as a way to facilitate multi-site lectures and to meet their own environmental policies.
- SUPA network pools resources - Video South install specially fitted videoconferencing facilities, using the JANET network, into SUPA Seminar rooms, allowing seven universities in Scotland offering graduate physics courses to pool resources.
- Multiple links for UCL system - Following a competitive tender, Video South was selected by UCL to design and install a new videoconferencing system at Whittington teaching hospital in North London.
